Fr. Jorge Alvarado, director, was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, the youngest of 4 children, two sisters and a brother. He has served in various roles in the church from a young age and experienced his conversion at age 18. It was through his service with the evangelization team at Catholic Charismatic Center he received his calling to the priesthood.
He was ordained a priest to the order of the Companions of the Cross in 2015 and assigned to Queen of Peace parish in Houston, Texas where he served as Parochial Vicar for 2 years.
Fr Jorge feels particularly called to lead people to an encounter with our risen Lord, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and to empower them so that they can fulfill heir mission as baptized.
Fr. Juan Pablo Orozco was born in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. He was raised in a very catholic, and active in the Charismatic Renewal, family. From his earliest years he was taught how to pray, and to love Jesus, and Mary.
One day at a powerful charismatic prayer meeting at his parish he was healed from various diseases, sport injuries, and also from depression. After he decided to give his life to Jesus, he told him he wanted to be his disciple and gave him full permission to do what he pleased in him.
Fr. Juan Pablo has always been about evangelizing after he was evangelized himself, and he really likes the work of the Companions of the Cross with the New Evangelization. He would like to do this type of ministry for the rest of his life. He wants to love and serve the Church, spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, and help others have an encounter with the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit.
