We are a Roman Catholic community of priests, committed to living and ministering together as brothers in the Lord.
We are called to the ongoing renewal of the church through a dynamic evangelization in the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit.
We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, to all we are called to serve, with special attention to parish communities, the poor, youth, and those alienated from the Church.
Fr. Jorge Alvarado CC, Director, was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, the youngest of 4 children, two sisters and a brother. He has served in various roles in the church from a young age and experienced his conversion at age 18. It was through his service with the evangelization team at Catholic Charismatic Center he received his calling to the priesthood. He was ordained a priest to the order of the Companions of the Cross in 2015 and assigned to Queen of Peace parish in Houston, Texas where he served as Parochial Vicar for 2 years.
Fr Jorge feels particularly called to lead people to an encounter with our risen Lord, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and to empower them so that they can fulfill their mission as baptized.
Fr. Juan Pablo Orozco CC, Associate Director, was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was 12 years old when his family moved to Conroe, Texas. At the age of sixteen, he had his first personal encounter with the Lord, and he gave his life to God in a desire to follow Him. In college, Juan Pablo had fallen away from the faith. After hitting a low point in his life, he received a miraculous healing at a charismatic healing prayer service that led him to serve wholeheartedly in the ministry. It was in serving the Lord, in ministry, where he began to discern his vocation to the priesthood more seriously. Since his conversion experience, he has served in ministry in 9 different countries, written some songs of worship. He entered the seminary with the Companions of the Cross in 2013 and was ordained to the priesthood on June 25, 2022.
